How to Configure Club Settings

Club settings control how your club appears and operates in Rostered. This guide covers the key settings you can customize.

Accessing Club Settings

  1. Navigate to your club dashboard.
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  3. The Settings page displays all configurable options.

Setting Club Timezone

The timezone affects how dates and times are displayed throughout Rostered:

  1. Find the Timezone section in Settings.
  2. Select your club's timezone from the dropdown:
    • Eastern Time (US & Canada)
    • Central Time (US & Canada)
    • Mountain Time (US & Canada)
    • Pacific Time (US & Canada)
    • Alaska
    • Hawaii
  3. Click Save to apply the change.

All schedule times are displayed in your club's timezone. Make sure this is set correctly so families see accurate times.

Configuring RSVP Settings

RSVP Deadline

Set how many days before an event the RSVP deadline falls:

  1. Find the RSVP Deadline setting.
  2. Enter the number of days before the event.
  3. Example: Setting "2" means RSVPs are due 2 days before the event starts.

RSVP Reminders

Configure when families receive RSVP reminder notifications:

  1. Find the RSVP Reminder Schedule section.
  2. Set the reminder timing (e.g., 3 days before deadline).
  3. Reminders are sent to families who haven't responded.

Your club logo appears throughout the app and in emails:

  1. Find the Club Logo section.
  2. Click Upload Logo or drag an image file.
  3. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF
  4. The logo is cropped/resized automatically.

You can set a separate logo optimized for emails:

  1. Find the Email Logo section.
  2. Upload an image (PNG recommended for best quality).
  3. This logo appears in email headers.

Logo Background

For logos with transparency:

  1. After uploading, check if a background color is needed.
  2. Select a background color or keep transparent.
  3. Some email clients display transparent backgrounds better with a solid color.

Setting Club Colors

Your club's theme color (tint) is used for buttons, headers, and accents:

  1. Find the Club Color section.
  2. Click on a color from the palette.
  3. Available colors include:
    • Orange (default)
    • Red, Amber, Yellow
    • Green, Emerald, Teal
    • Blue, Indigo, Purple
    • And more
  4. The color is applied throughout the interface.

Notification Delay

Control how quickly schedule change notifications are sent:

  1. Find the Notification Delay setting.
  2. Enter the delay in minutes.
  3. This gives you time to make corrections before families are notified.

A short delay (5-15 minutes) lets you fix typos without triggering multiple notifications. Set to 0 for immediate notifications.

Home Uniform Setting

For sports that use home/away uniform designations:

  1. Find the Home Uniform setting.
  2. Select whether home teams wear:
    • Dark uniforms
    • Light uniforms
  3. This affects how uniform colors are displayed for games.

Saving Changes

Most settings save automatically when changed. For some settings:

  1. Make your changes.
  2. Click the Save button if one appears.
  3. A confirmation message indicates the settings were saved.

Before Your First Season

  • Set your timezone correctly
  • Upload your club logo
  • Choose your club color
  • Configure RSVP deadlines appropriate for your sport

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Review RSVP reminder settings periodically
  • Update logos if branding changes
  • Adjust notification delays based on feedback
