How to Manage Your Coach Profile
Setting up your coach profile helps athletes and families identify you throughout Rostered. Your profile information and avatar appear in team views, huddle messages, and on the coaching staff list.
Accessing Your Profile Settings
- Log in to your Rostered coach account.
- Navigate to your profile settings (typically in the top-right menu or account section).
- Click Edit Profile or Manage Profile.
Setting Your Profile Information
Basic Information
Update your basic coach information:
- Name: Your display name as shown to athletes and families.
- Title/Role: Your coaching position (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, etc.).
- Contact Information: Email and phone number for club communications.
Coach Bio
Add a brief bio about your coaching background:
- Find the Bio or About section.
- Include relevant experience, coaching philosophy, or achievements.
- Keep it concise but informative for families getting to know you.
Uploading Your Profile Photo
Your coach avatar is an important part of your profile as it appears throughout the app:
- Team Views: Your photo shows up on the coaching staff list
- Huddle Messages: Athletes see your avatar when you send team messages
- Coaching Staff Directory: Families can identify you in club communications
Adding a Photo
- In your profile settings, find the Profile Photo or Avatar section.
- Click Upload Photo or the camera icon.
- Choose to either:
- Upload from Files: Select an existing photo from your device
- Take Photo: Use your camera to capture a new photo
- After selecting your photo, use the built-in image cropper to:
- Position your face in the center of the crop area
- Adjust the size to ensure clear visibility
- Make sure the image will look good as a circular avatar
- Click Save to confirm your crop adjustments.
- Your new profile photo will be processed and appear throughout the app.

Updating Your Photo
To change your existing profile photo:
- Click on your current profile photo in the settings.
- Select Change Photo or Upload New Photo.
- Follow the same steps as adding a new photo.
- Your updated photo will replace the previous one across all app views.
Removing Your Photo
If you need to remove your profile photo:
- In your profile photo section, look for Remove Photo or the delete option.
- Confirm that you want to remove it.
- Your profile will display your initials instead of a photo.
Privacy Settings
Control who can see your profile information:
- Review Visibility Settings in your profile.
- Choose what information is visible to:
- Athletes on your teams
- All families in your club
- Other coaches
Notification Preferences
Configure how you receive updates:
- Find Notification Settings in your profile.
- Choose preferences for:
- Team activity notifications
- Schedule change alerts
- Message notifications
- RSVP updates
Saving Your Changes
- After making any profile updates, click Save Changes or Update Profile.
- A confirmation message will indicate your profile has been updated.
- Your changes will be visible immediately throughout the app.
