View Your Team Roster

As a coach, you have access to your team's roster including athlete information and guardian contact details. Here's how to view and navigate your roster.

Accessing the Roster​

  1. Open the Rostered app and tap the Coach tab
  2. Tap your team in the Your Teams section
  3. From the team details screen, tap Roster in the Details section

Understanding the Roster View​

The roster displays all athletes currently assigned to your team. For each athlete, you can see:

  • Name - The athlete's full name
  • Photo - Profile photo if one has been uploaded

Tap any athlete to view their full details.

Athlete Detail Information​

When you tap an athlete from the roster, you'll see:

Teams and Divisions​

  • Which teams the athlete belongs to
  • Which division(s) they're registered in

Guardian Information​

Upcoming Schedule​

  • Next practice
  • Next tournament
  • Next game

The schedule section shows events relevant to this specific athlete.

Division Athletes vs Team Roster​

There's an important distinction:

  • Team Roster - Athletes specifically assigned to your team
  • Division Athletes - All athletes in the division, which may include athletes on other teams

If you coach a division, you'll see an Athletes link instead of Roster when viewing division details. This shows all athletes across all teams in the division.

Refreshing the Roster​

To get the latest roster information:

  1. Pull down from the top of the roster list
  2. Release to refresh
  3. The app will reload with any recent changes

This is useful if your club admin has recently added or removed athletes from your team.

What You Can See as a Coach​

As a coach, your roster access includes:

  • Full athlete names
  • Guardian names and contact information
  • Team and division assignments
  • Athlete schedule (practices, games, tournaments)
  • Private coaching notes (that you create)

You cannot see:

  • Medical information (unless specifically shared)
  • Information for athletes not on your teams/divisions
  • Other coaches' private notes
